Thunderbird is a compact, yet feature packed email program designed to be a drop in replacement for Outlook (or Outlook Express); Thunderbird features the smartest SPAM filtering, built in spell checker, enterprise and government grade security features such as S/MIME and message encryption.
Thunderbird prevents scripts running in the email program so helps to prevent the spread of email viruses and trojans. You can also apply themes and expand its functionality using the extensions manager.

Sea Monkey offers something different; Sea Monkey includes an email program, web browser, webpage editor, calendar and chat are in the same program.

Naomi is an internet filter program designed to protect children from inappropriate online material - such as obscene or violent contents; pornography, paedophilia and erotism in the form of images or texts; sites that popularize drugs; gambling games; terrorism; hate propaganda; occultism; sects; blasphemy, etc.
The program is very simple to install, and on installation will ask you for a password or phrase that will keep it secure. Choose a phrase or password you can remember but your children wouldn't know, like your first pet's name or postcode of your parent's or grandparent's home.
